JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
The overall theme of the work is “A Hymn to Humanity”. It is an omnibus-style work featuring the main characters called “JoJo,” and the original work, Part 9 (The JOJO Lands), is currently being serialized. The appeal of JoJo is varied. In addition to the interesting stories, the characters full of individuality and the unique sound effects and dialogues are the main attractions.
Part 1, “Phantom Blood,” is set in England in 1880 and tells the story of Jonathan Joestar (JoJo) and Dio, the greatest enemy of the Joestar family. The part２, “Battle Tendency,” is set in 1938, approximately 50 years after “Phantom Blood,” and depicts the battle between Jonathan’s grandson, Joseph Joestar (JoJo), and “the Pillar Men”.
About the collaboration
Part 1 “Phantom Blood” and Part 2 “Battle Tendency” of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure have collaborated with the fashion brand “glamb”. Pre-orders are now being taken at the “glamb” online store. There are a total of eight types of collaborative products, including t-shirts and jackets. Personally, I find Lisa Lisa’s turtle knit very attractive. For more details, check out the website.
